Meet The Snakes

Thunder & Lightning

Northern Pine Snakes

Hatched July 2022

How do I tell them apart? Lightning is the lighter snake of the pair. These cookies and cream colored snakes are very gentle and cautious. With hopes to breed in 2025, these two are quite the curious species. Never aggressive and constantly curious, these two are gentle and amazing pets as well. I always love to point out that their snakes are not shiny or iridescent like my other species, but more so like sandpaper.

Indica & Sativa

Eastern Indigo Snakes

Hatched July 2022

These rare and beautiful snakes are on a threatened species list, and therefore require a permit to buy & sell outside of the state of CA. These two troublemakers need a varied diet, and constant cleaning. One might say they are the black sheep of my bunch, though the most valued. Eastern Indigos are no snake for beginner keepers and are quite fragile in their first year of life. While they are ferocious eaters, mine are known to be picky, and only enjoy rodents. Indigo snakes have a reputation for painting with their feces, and these two are no exception! Anticipated deep red offspring should be available in about 3-4 more years, with a bloodline unrelated to Robert Bruce & Black Pearl Reptiles. Displaying a plethora of red, dark black torseos, and a rarity in the hobby, these would make an excellent addition to any advanced keepers collection.

Daniel & Queen B

Mexican Black Kingsnakes

Hatched ~2017-2018

These two black beauties are my first ever breeding pair of snakes. Always producing jet-black babies, they make uh-mazing starter pet snakes. With little to no humidity requirement, a big appetite, and a great disposition, MBK are perfect for those with little to no experience with reptiles. Daniel & Queen B have produced 3 healthy clutches, and will not be breeding for the 2024 season. Check back soon.

Jennifer

Normal Ball Python Unknown DOB

Jennifer is one of my most special and underrated snakes. She is a normal ball python weighing in at about 6 lbs, that has been with me since I was around 10-12 years old. With an unknown DOB, I estimate that she is anywhere between 13-15 years of age. Ball pythons are quite mellow snakes, and tend to come out when no one is looking, especially at night. Jennifer is a gentle girl, and has never bitten anyone. She enjoys going on walks to Starbucks as well as getting stuck in places where she shouldn’t be. Jennifer will always be #1 in my heart and a beloved snake. She is my go-to gal when it comes to helping others get over their fear of snakes.

Drake the Snake

Normal Corn Snake Unknown DOB

Drake came to me around 5 years ago as a rescue. Someone had tagged me in a Facebook post asking if I would take this snake up for adoption. His name was Drake the Snake and the family that wanted to find him a new home had him living in a closet, inside a 20 gallon fish tank, covered in his own feces. Feeding him only once a month, he was severely underweight and unhealthy. An adult corn snake, but about the size of a yearling, I knew I had work to do. While feeding him more heavily and handling often, he perked up quickly. His coloration got brighter, you could no longer see the spine through his scales, and he was a more active snake. While he is never going to be bred, he is a fantastic pet and has a lovely disposition. Never missing a meal, Drake is a special boy that loves to explore whenever he can, constantly begging to come out of his enclosure.

Gerald “Gerry”

50% Super Dwarf Retic 100% Het Titanium) 02/09/2023

Gerry is the newest member to my collection of snakes. He is a super dwarf reticulated python with the personality of a puppy dog! Gerry has one of the most calm personalities of any reticulated python I have ever seen and always wants to come out and explore. I named him after the sea lions from Finding Dory as I thought the name was goofy and fitting. With strong grays, and a golden yellow throughout, he is a gorgeous normal that I plan to give the best life possible, but no plans to breed.

Pepper

50% het sharp 50% het anery or snow Hatched 2022

She is an IMG boa I impulsively bought at a reptile show in Southern California because of her absolute beauty. She is a pet and tends to be one of the most popular in my collection. IMG boa constrictors are a color mutation that stands for “increased melanism gene.” It describes how their color changes as they age. The IMG (increased melanism gene) Boa is also known as the Azabache Boa which comes from the Spanish word meaning “jet black”. This melanistic Colombian Boa morph was first produced from a litter of normal looking anerythristic Boas and proved to be genetic by Peter Kahl in 2007. IMG Boas are born looking similar to normal Boas but with a slightly increased amount of black pigment.  This melanistic appearance gradually increases as they mature until they are almost solid black. She was produced by @crestedballers_boas
